Dondria Speaks With On Wax Magazine
The R&B singer’s journey from YouTube sensation to So So Def recording artist, outlook on the industry is explained
Using YouTube to showcase her singing abilities, Dondria built a nice following under her username “Phatfffat.” Head-Honcho of So So Def Jermaine Dupri caught wind of her buzz and offered a solo contract with the label. Besides working with the likes of Jagged Edge and Bow Wow, the Texas native even found time to release a mixtape for her loyal fans entitled Dondria Duets which featured Dondria turning popular male R&B songs into duets. With an album just released last month, Dondria vs. Phatffat, she is currently touring as the opening act on Trey Songz and Monica’s “Passion Pain & Pleasure” Tour.
On Wax: So you’re currently on tour with Trey Songz and Monica, how does it feel to be on tour with two of the biggest names in modern R&B?
Dondria: I am just really excited and honored that they added me on and they wanted me to be apart of it. I think that with all three of us, we’re giving you a great show with a lot of great R&B which is what I love.
Can You Help Me (Fan Video)
Hello everyone, after doing some work yesterday I hit up youtube to check for some PPP Tour footage and I ran into a video made by DaOfficialKing. The clip is a visual for Dondria‘s song “Can You Help Me” from the debut album! Now if you know me personally, you know this song is my jam, next to all other 10 tracks on the album. King’s treatment for the clip is what caught my attention & that’s why he is getting a post on the site! Head over to his youtube channel here to view some more of his work.

Site Update
Hey everyone, I want to thank those who still visit the site, even through construction. I just want to apologize for the lack of updates! I have been hard working on this site as well as a few others, and it’s harder than I thought! No worries though DondriaNicole.net will be up and running with a new layout maybe by the weekend, if not next week! Notice if you head over to the gallery, there is a different layout up on that already. That may change as well within the next few days, to match the new layout, with quite a few new/old pictures that I have just received.
DNicoleNet has a sister site that is currently in the works! The site is for the fabulous Kelly Rowland. Both ladies, Kelly & Dondria, will be performing this weekend in ATL, so if your in the area support our girls.

Dondria to Release another Album
In a recent interview with The Bijou Star Files, Dondria dished that she will release an EP consisting of the song that didn’t make the album! This is good news! Dondria just released her debut album, and already is preparing another project!

Blatino Awards
Dondria is set to perform at this years Blatino Awards, held in Atlanta, GA on September 3rd. The show, hosted by Raz-B, Shanell, D.Woods and CJ Wright, will broadcast live online from 9-11 pm. If you would like to attend the show (at Club ATL) tickets are available for $10 before the show, $20 at the door and for VIP $25 before the show and $30 at the door. Dondria First Week Sales Are In
A week ago Dondria released her debut album Dondria vs. Phatfffat and the numbers are in. The album debuts at #43 on the charts selling 9,422 units.
With great reviews floating around the album should sell more in it’s second week! Let’s go friendfffans and lifers, keep spreading the word about our princess!
